About Jake Wrazel
Jake Wrazel is Citadel’s Design Manager, leading the design department with a construction-first mindset that bridges the gap between creativity and buildability. Working closely with Preconstruction, he drives a streamlined design and permitting process that moves clients from concept to construction-ready documents with speed, clarity, and accuracy. His ability to anticipate field challenges, optimize prototypes, and translate brand standards into efficient build documentation makes him a key force in Citadel’s early-phase success.
Jake grew up on job sites in northwest Arkansas and studied architecture and construction at the University of Arkansas. He gained early experience designing retail spaces nationwide before joining SGW Architecture in Chicago, focusing on mixed-use, multifamily, and climate-controlled storage projects. In 2021, he joined 7 Brew Coffee during its rapid expansion, helping develop prototypes, spec books, and site design for more than 4,000 planned locations and contributing to the brand’s growth from 11 to over 270 stores. With both architectural expertise and a Commercial General Contractor’s License, he brings a rare dual perspective that blends design detail with real-world constructability.
Jake joined Citadel in 2024 and continues to elevate the preconstruction pipeline with his technical skill, field awareness, and collaborative leadership. He lives in Rogers, Arkansas with his wife Katie, daughter Magnolia, and their two dogs.
